My TOEFL iBT preparation experience

Hello, I am Peggy from China, working as an English teacher in a vocational school here in Wuhan. Because of this 2019-nCoV outbreak, Wuhan has been locked down for over two months. During then, I have made a specific plan for preparing my TOEFL iBT test. I study English every day at home. I make myself busy with reciting the new words, practising spoken English online, doing reading exercises and so on. What's more, I spend almost 10 hours each day for burying into TOEFL studying. After over two months, I have made a great improvement! I believe in the coming TOEFL iBT test, I will absolutely pass it with a pretty beautiful mark!

Hello, Peggy! It's wonderful to hear from you. I understand that Wuhan was quite badly impacted by the COVID outbreak.

It's wonderful to read about your preparation for TOEFL IBT. I think the advantage of this lockdown is that all of us are getting time to do things we always wanted to do, but were just too busy earlier.

All the best for your TOEFL IBT test!

Hello, Peggy and Radhikaj~ Nice meeting you all here! 😀

For me... I have taken neither TOEFL nor IELTS... but I think it is wonderful to have this forum here, for ESL students to support each other and practice English!

English is not my native language, I am just thankful that since a young age my parents sent us to private school to learn English... I found that when I search on google... it is easiest to find a good resource in English!

Oh thank you very much dear Radhikaj, it's a great pleasure to get your reply here. It's totally true that during the lockdown time in Wuhan, I have done quite a lot of things which I didn't really have time to do. Besides studying TOEFL, I have learnt Japanese and French ! It's so wonderful that I am able to teach myself by the help of internet !
