- Positive impact
- Reason 1 - Educational
- Reason 2 - Break from the routine
- Example of friend
Here's my detailed response:
I’ve always believed in the educational value of television programs. Therefore, I definitely support the idea that a child must have access to a television at home. First, there are channels, such as National Geographic, that educate as well as entertain. This will be a great way for a child to discover new aspects of the subjects in their school curriculum. In addition, children deserve an occasional break from their studies. Entertaining programs can give a child relief from the monotony of school content. I had a friend in school who learned spoken French just by watching subtitled French movies that were aired once a week. The movies exposed him to a new culture and also helped him learn a beautiful, new language.
